THE KEGHEAD,

LOGLINE

FILM SYNOPSIS
For 40 years, the “Keghead” has delivered beer to Reno, Nevada’s oldest bars and restaurants. That ride comes to an end when he is taken off his route and moved to sales. A man who thrives on hard work and relationships he’s built along his route, trades in steel-toed boots for slacks and a tablet, as his company shifts to an Amazon sales model: order online, delivery at your door, no human contact. Told through the eyes of a son and his blue-collared dad, Keghead’s Last Ride explores identity and community, capturing a man and a city in transition.

DIRECTOR'S WORD
Growing up in Reno, I'd often take weekend rides with my dad, the Keghead, to help make special deliveries to some of the oldest bars in Nevada. In these places, I learned not only about what it meant to provide good service, but I learned the importance of community.
My goal with Keghead's Last Ride is to awareness about both these aspects of our lives that I feel have started disappearing from society. Through donations, I intend to get this documentary short into film festivals nationwide, and bring the Keghead's story to the world.
